Yesterday, Vice President Joe Biden visited DC's first Costco on its grand opening. Located in the Fort Lincoln area of Ward 5, this is Costco's 619th store in the world. It is located in the "Shops at Dakota Crossing," the new retail development in the Fort Lincoln community.

According to the Reliable Source,  Joe Biden's Costco trip was successful: he purchased children’s books, fire logs, a 32-inch Panasonic TV, a watch, an apple pie and also tasted many free food samples.

Being his jovial self, Biden joked with employees in the Costco tire department. He said:

Hey man, I don’t need tires. I don’t drive anymore

We anticipated Biden to have an Executive Gold Star Membership card, but from the above photo, it looks like he is fine with just the Gold Star Membership.
