The Frick Collection

Once owned by "Robber Baron" Henry Clay Frick, this early 20th-century mansion  is now a private museum of European masterpieces, boasting works by Rembrandt, Jean-Honoré Fragonard, and Johannes Vermeer. For fans of art and Old World splendor, this could be a perfect match -- provided the membership dues and $45k+ site rental fee are paid. Your caterer will also have to be flexible, as the Frick has restrictions on anything that may harm its collection, including red wine, candles, and berries. (Trust us, a ruined Renoir is the last thing you'll want added to the tab.)
