Backroom Conversations and Guerilla Talks
ART HK brings about a series of art workshops, debates, lectures and discussions including “Backroom Conversations” and “ArtAsiaPacific Guerilla Talks,” which pretty much book out as soon as tickets are released. A way of letting the public in on the mind and workings of artists and the art world, these talks are stimulating, sometimes heated, and always leave people with a better knowledge and heightened interest in contemporary art. The Backroom Conversations highlight of this year is likely to be “The Burger Collection Keynote Lecture” featuring Okwui Enwezor. Meanwhile, the Guerilla Talks will take place every day from the 17th to the 20th, and will feature international artists from different walks of life.
