A not-so-secret speakeasy located on Wyndham Street in Central, Stockton is a favorite hangout for those who want to take it easy or do something casual in town. This, of course, is a huge misnomer for the place, as when locals say they want something casual, it just means people are going in their work clothes or going in jeans rather than a tailored dress and designer heels. (Note: there is a doorman who still evaluates you before you are let in, so casual still means presentable.) Chilled out music accompanies their renowned cocktails and lush bar bites in the early hours of the night, and the beat picks up slowly until it becomes a full fledged club after midnight where table service is the norm. Booking a table is highly recommended, even if you're only down for a "casual," low-key night.
