It’s nice to see more emerging artists at the Grammy’s this year.
I think this year they’ve stepped it up. There’s a lot more actual musicianship [laughs] there this year versus like, Katy Perry or whatever. So it’s cool, I think they're bringing it back to that. When I first heard we were nominated for R&B – I think of really polished Usher, so it’s kind of weird to be invited into that legacy. But I think they’re changing, the fact that D’Angelo is in [the] record of the year up against some major pop shit, I think is really refreshing.
