"I am filing an official complaint about the new policies at this blog. I demand three shallow badly written posts a day to mock. People are going to stop coming here if there is only new material once a week. What’s the point? Just go to Facebook or myspace."

We are with you Katie Lynn.....EMILY WHERE ARE YOU!?!? You came back just to abandon us yet again. We want to know what you think of our new president, if you made it to the Lily Pulitzer event last night, and whether or not you still want to host a party at the Eldridge to celebrate your return.  You know where to find us.

Hey New Yorkers, Confession: I took things down for a bit of a timeout but Happy Election Eve and let’s rock.

In order to bring you the kind of ‘narratives’ about New York City I always envisioned, I’ve decided to change the way I’m doing things.

It’s been about a year since I lost all that weight that made me feel like an outsider –and gone from outsider to insider. But make no mistake: I always want to bring an outsider (or at least an original and unconventional) perspective with me wherever I go. And it is, and always will be, a presence in my ‘narratives.’

I haven’t changed my goals, but after ten months on this blog all day every day, it’s now clear that a different direction is in order. I’ve written about people, places and things in my social world, but I will not post for the sake of posting anymore. I’ve peeled back the curtain as I’ve now for the first time actually gone behind the curtain. But I don’t want this blog to become simply a travelogue or series of random thoughts - sharing for the sake of sharing. MORE HERE
