Creating a stir along 5th avenue, a crowd of interested passerby's formed in front of the museum as Hugo Boss projected their logo onto the front of the building. Today’s contemporary art luminaries, including Curtis Kulig, Jeremy Kost, and Shelter Serra, showed up to support and celebrate the contemporary catalysts of tomorrow. The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and HUGO BOSS created the Hugo Boss Prize in 1996; awarded every two years, the Prize is offered to artists with no limitations on nationality, medium, or age.
