Ion Studio
Constructed mostly out of recycled materials, Ion Studio is truly inline with sustainability. This 3-floor hair salon and hair academy is situated, somewhat secretly, at the back of a building in SoHo. The studio uses only green energy, and products with the smallest carbon footprint possible, one brand used is organic company Davines. The company states,
"We strive to help our clients not only transform physically, but also change the way they use energy in their own lives."
The salon's modest prices are quite a surprise since model sightings at the studio are not uncommon. They even offer complimentary trims and glosses for their regular patrons. Haircuts start at $85, and blow-drys start at $65.
