Tell us a little bit about your background. What was your childhood like?
I was the token Latina for most of my childhood right up until I moved to NYC for college. I'd say my childhood was pretty similar to Eddie Huang's Fresh Off The Boat show, just with Dominican parents and rice, beans and tostones instead of Chinese food.
