M83-Graveyard Girl
M83-Graveyard GirlBack in 2008, French electronic act M83 released Saturdays=Youth, an album inspired by the sweet but slightly melodramatic coming of age stories represented in John Hughes flicks like Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club. The most successful track off that album was the dreamy, synth-saturated "Graveyard Girl," which tells the story of a Goth girl the songwriter once knew who "worships Satan" but "dreams of a sister like Molly Ringwald."
