What about cardio?
Running is something I'll never do, because it's the worst thing for my joints. I know one dancer who runs, but thats just an anomaly. Most dancers don't run, because it's just not compatible.
Ballet is so cardio-intense, a lot of people don't realize. A lot of times I'll do a role, and it's like a battle to get through it. I think anyone should take a beginner ballet class, I think people don't realize how hard it is, but anyone can do it at a beginner level. I've actually heard that some football teams do ballet.
