Paramount Hotel
Why: Another legendary venue was revived this year, in Aby Rosen's Paramount Hotel. The hotel has nods to its history throughout, and blends classic style with modern luxury. A key example of this is the forthcoming Diamond Horseshoe venue below the hotel. The Warhol Factory hangout is being revived in collaboration with Sleep No More's Randy Weiner to usher in a new era of Midtown partying. The hotel itself is dark and sexy, and adds much needed character to Times Square.
