Founded by Claire Chan, previously a buyer at Bergdorf Goodman, it has only been open a year but is already a hot spot for celeb regulars Karlie Kloss, Julianne Moore and Alec Baldwin. The Elk serves fresh, in-season and healthy plates for breakfast and lunch; get your coffee to go, sit at the laptop bar, or enjoy the laptop-free tables, designed with conversation in mind.
