Guilt Free Food
Bikini season is over and it's time for guilt free eating. While burgers from Corner Bistro and comfort food from Tavern on Jane are always favorites, there are plenty of places opening up for those interested in The New.
- EMM Group, who brought you Abe & Arthurs, are opening seafood restaurant Catch, with “Top Chef” winner Chef Hung Huynh at the helm.
- Veselka's new Bowery location is set to open in October!!!
- Danny Meyer closed Tabla, his crowd-pleasing Indian fusion restaurant across from Madison Square Park. In it's place comes La Mar Cebicheria Peruana, the first New York eatery from Peru-based restaurant group La Mar. Open this Sept.
- The Dream Downtown's will open Romera, a 52-seat space devoted to what Dr. Miguel Sánchez Romera calls "neuro-gastronomy."
But perhaps the most exciting? An IHOP is
opening in Bushwick!!!!!!!! Bring on the Stuffed French Toast.
