Last night Moet & Chandon celebrated its 270th anniversary with Roger Federer, international tennis champion and Moët & Chandon Global Brand Ambassador, at Chelsea Piers. Upon entering the room, guest were treated to champagne by the glass served in golden chalices. The room was decorated with large replica Moet bottles, as well as a massive cake made out of ornaments with mini bottles of champagne on each layer. The centerpiece of the room was an elaborate dessert table featuring macaroons, marshmallow treats, fruits, and more.

While Roger Federer was the guest of honor – leading a celebratory toast during the party to 270 years – all attention immediately turned to Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour, who arrived by helicopter from Long Island with Charlie Shaffer, Luke Wintour, Ellie Wintour, Klara Zak and Liz Cordry. With DJ Bob Sinclair on the turntables, guests enjoyed signature ‘golden goblets’ of Moët Impérial and buzzed about the man of the hour, Roger Federer. Pop sensation Emeli Sandé performed her hit song, “Next To Me,” as actor Josh Lucas – looking dapper in a gray suit – rushed to the front of the crowd to take pictures on his cell phone.
