The newly opened restaurant and lounge located in the artsy neighbourhood of Sheung Wan has already garnered rave reviews. This modern bistro is more museum than restaurant, with art courtesy of Banksy, Jeff Koons, and Invader on display. Thankfully, Chef Mutaro Balde holds his own among these street and modern art masters, as he is a classically trained chef who worked under the acclaimed Alain Ducasse in Paris and Joel Robuchon in London. You can thus expect to sample classic French ingredients, given a contemporary modern twist, while enjoying 1930s inspired cocktails by their stellar mixologist. Even though Bibo is first and foremost a restaurant, the epic parties that have taken place since its opening renders a playground for the creative set.
