Maripol x Marc Jacobs
With friends such as the late Basquiat, Andy Warhol, and Keith Haring, French born artist/stylist/designer Maripol has been surrounded by art for most her life. She made waves on the New York City scene back in 80s as she grabbed the art world by it's horns. The former art director of Fiorucci created some of the most iconic jewelry of that time, and is notably the woman behind Madonna's iconic "
Like A Virgin" look in the 80s.
In 2010, Maripol collaborated with Marc Jacobs on a line of t-shirts and jewelry inspired by the collections she created back in the 80s.
