DON’T use towlettes or powders for sunscreen: These were barred by the FDA because of their spotty sun protection, and dangers caused by inhalation.

DO wear sunscreen every day: Make sure that your daily moisturizer and/or makeup include a sufficient SPF to guard you even when you’re far from the beach.

DON’T buy sunscreens using Oxybenzone: Oxybenzone is a chemical that when absorbed through the skin, can act like estrogen in the body. It’s been linked to endometriosis and low birth weight, and can cause allergic reactions.
