Ticketed Event

On June 22, 2007 the U.S. Senate passed a resolution to forever mark January 11th as a day of awareness and vigilance for the countless victims of human trafficking across the globe. Since our conception just a few years ago Bridge to Freedom Foundation (BTFF), has taken great pride to create and distribute across the globe an inspiring awareness poster to mark this day. This year BTFF is excited to host a full day awareness event in honor of National Global Human Trafficking Awareness Day (NGHTAD) on Friday January 11, 2013. Thanks to the sponsorship of the Westin Georgetown we are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a full day of events including a panel of human trafficking survivors and experts, human trafficking film screening and a cocktail gala with silent auction. This NGHTAD we invite you join BTFF and our partners for a special three part event; Discover, Witness and Act Against Human Trafficking Discover the facts about human trafficking at our Panel 9am-12:30pm: Tina Frundt, Barbara Amaya, Cassandra Clifford and more expert panelist and survivors to be announced. Witness the reality of human trafficking and the lives as we host a Film Screening 2pm-4pm: Documentary screening and Q&A with panel and special guests. Act to end human trafficking and empower survivors to lead thriving lives at our Gala 7pm-11pm: Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, dancing and a lavish silent auction.
