One of the oldest medieval towns in The French Riviera, St. Paul de Vence is worth spending at least two days in to fully explore all the culture and absorb the rich history of the town. Apart from the stunning aesthetic of medieval architecture and lush greenery, the town of St. Paul de Vence is a hub for art and artists since the 1950s. The Maeght Foundation is great to peruse modern art, including works by Miró and Braque. If you are more interested in discovering new work mixed in with contemporary greats, going on a guided gallery tour of the town is the perfect activity to embark on. A bunch of art studios can be found in and around town, which allows you to take part in the creative process. If art isn’t really your thing, St. Paul de Vence has a robust food and wine scene with vineyards that welcome visitors.
