Monaco

If fast cars and casinos are more your thing, Monaco is the place to be the weekend of May 26 to 29. The most anticipated Formula 1 Grand Prix takes place then, and for F1 enthusiasts, this is considered one of the most exhilarating races with the city turned into a racetrack for the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel, and Jenson Buttons - just to name a few. The race also attracts some pretty big name followers, who in the past include the likes of Brad Pitt, Naomi Campbell, Michael Fassbender, and Alicia Vikander. (And, of course, who can forget Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner cozying up to Lewis Hamilton last year as the models made their debut in the Riviera circuit?)

When you’re not busy watching cars zoom by, Monaco is a pretty cool town with a ton of cultural things to see. Spend an afternoon checking out Saint Nicholas Cathedral and Place du Palais (Prince’s Palace) for a bit of culture, or head to one of its beautiful gardens such as Jardin Exotique or Japanese Gardens. Purveyors of fine cars should make a stop at The Private Collection of Antique Cars of H.S.H. Prince Rainier III while those who want the James Bond experience can check out the Casino of Monte-Carlo.
