We should have known after getting a sneak peek at the Jimmy Choo collaboration with H&M that there would be a blow-out debut party in the works. On Monday, stars and fashion fanatics partied it up with creative director Tamara Mellon to celebrate the line coming out November 14th in nearly 200 stores nationwide. More»

I’ve always been sort of ambivalent towards Katy Perry, but that was before she threw the most amazing 25th Birthday party in the history of birthday parties. The singer instructed all her guests to wear white to her Willy Wonka themed party (most complied; Perez Hilton unexplicably and annoyingly dressed up like Mother Theresa). Then, they had a huge paint throwing party, completely covering  themselves in neon-paint. More»

Rachel Bilson, Joy BryantYoung Hollywood was out and swinging at the Madewell Fall 2009 Denim Tour with Lucky Magazine at Bar Marmont in West Hollywood.  Lucky’s covergirl Rachel Bilson was at the event sharing the love with fellow Robertson Boulevard regulars Lauren Conrad, Mandy Moore, Zoe-bot Joy Bryant, Jordana Brewster, Eliza Dushku, and the Office’s (not to mention L.A. royalty) Rashida JonesMore»

Kim Kardashian and Amber Valletta (wearing nearly identical dresses), Hayden Panettiere, Lauren Conrad, Selena Gomez, Kelly Osbourne, Max Azria and Sophia Bush all attended the 6th Annual Hollywood Style Awards in Los Angeles this past Sunday, and everyone probably had a pretty decent time, with one, small exception: It is unclear who the small, quivering little girl accompanying David LaChapelle is, but it’s pretty safe to say she was none too happy about being pushed up against Pamela Anderson’s barely covered thigh. Lauren Conrad got a lot of flak for the high prices of her first clothing line. Well, now the former-star of The Hills has swapped Bloomingdales for Kohls, and just launched a newer, more affordable line. The prices range from $20-$60, and the clothes range from definitely fugly to possibly cute. Lo Bosworth was there to support her budding designer friend, as were both Whitney Port and Roxy Olin, who must have flown out from New York for the occasion. Do we sense a crossover episode of The City and The Hills? More»

Steven Spielberg, Drew BarrymoreYesterday “Whip It” premiered in Los Angeles at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Steven Spielberg, Shenae Grimes, Justin Long, Quentin Tarantino and Serena Williams walked the red carpet with stars Ellen Paige and Drew Barrymore, the latter of which made her directorial debut with the movie. The Texas based flick follows Paige, an indie-rock loving misfit who finds meaning in suburbia after stumbling on a roller derby league. More»

So which coast has the edge on pool parties? The West coast gets spoiled with summer weather all year, so you’d think they have the genre down. On the other hand, the East coast really packs everything it can into the season of sun. Brief, but aggressive. After a Jay-Z appearance and shows from bands including Girl Talk, we’d say Brooklyn’s JELLY properly represents our hood. There’s the celeb factor, amazing music, hipster summer fashions, and the city skyline. More»

It’s Rumer Willis‘ big screen premiere, aren’t you excited? Mama Demi Moore sure is. She made it out to support her eldest daughter at the premiere of Sorority Row in Los Angeles last night. Also there was Audrina Patridge, Carrie Fisher, Cisco Adler, and a slew of young stars from the movie. Curious as to what type of film this is? Well, as if the title didn’t give it away, the fact that IMDB lists characters such as “Bra-Clad Sister” and “Already Drunk Sister” should give you an idea of why this film is premiering in LA and not Venice this week.
