Like the House of Windsor to which he belongs, the course of Prince William's relationship with Kate Middleton has been remarkably traditional. The two met while studying at St. Andrews University in Scotland, beginning as friends, and then flatmates, and then more. Despite a three-month break-up in 2007, their 8-year courtship eventually led to marriage in 2011. The fanfare surrounding the Royal Wedding could only then lead to fanfare surrounding the birth of the Royal Baby. Check and check.
