Zoe is one half half of Brooklyn-based music duo ASTR, and some would think it inevitable that she would go into music. As the daughter of Tommy Boy Records founder Tom Silverman, she grew up around the pioneers of modern Hip Hop, and that influence can be heard on her band’s debut EP Varsity, which was named one of 2014’s top pop albums by Spin Magazine.
