Michael Avedon & Richard Avedon
21-year-old Upper West Sider Michael Avedon, is the grandson of famous fashion and portrait photographer Richard Avedon. If one famous grandpa isn't enough, Michael's maternal grandfather is the famous senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. Michael has chosen to follow in his paternal granddad's footsteps by taking up the camera, instead of going into the world of politics. He has a knack for capturing beautiful faces and moments like Richard Avedon did, and is carving out a niche for himself in the New York photography scene.
