Lourdes "Lola" Leon - Age 15
Lourdes Leon is related to Madonna in more ways than just by genetics. At just 15 years old, Lourdes has established herself as the "Material Girl" or one of the main designers behind the collection that she launched with her mom for Macy's. Lourdes modeled the label with Madonna's 80s fashion influence as her source of inspiration. It is always said that fashion repeats itself, so Lourdes took this concept, and with her collaborations with Madonna and Kelly Osbourne, designed a edgy contemporary line.
Outside of her role as a designer and creative director, Lourdes is a 10th grader at Laguardia Arts High School in NYC. She has also been joining her mom on tour as a back up dancer and been giving style advice, on the
Material Girl blog, and during interviews.
“I am all for crop tops, but I don’t like it when people wear crop tops that are excessively cropped. Really, don’t be a skank with your crop top.”
She also admits,
“I used to do this a lot, but the hippie bands around your head are very out. Don’t ever wear that again.”[BuffaloNews]
