John Cusack was blogging before it was cool, and unlike the Kardashian Krew he wasn't giving makeup tips or fitness advice. In 2005 John Cusack started writing pieces for Huffington Post, focusing on politics and the media; also covering Edward Snowden, who he so casually lounges with in the picture above. He holds nothing back in his pieces, and took his writing to the next level when helping to found Freedom of the Press Foundation. This foundation fights to support 1st Amendment Rights, transparency in journalism, and holding politicians accountable - well written and liberal? Swoon.
