1. If it's worth more than $20 don't wear it
No one is going to remember what you wore and it's most definitely going to get ruined. If your clothes are dry clean only, leave them at your parents' house because you will NEVER need that in college. Get yourself to Forever21 and buy a bunch of shitty clothes you can throw away.
