Her Backstory
-Lana, born Tran Dong Lan, was adopted along with her brother from a Vietnamese orphanage in 1997.
-Her dad, then a writer for the Chicago Tribune, wrote all about the heartwarming story that year.
-In her teens, she attended Joffrey Ballet School and Ailey/Performing Arts School. She also performed with the Los Angeles Ballet.
