Daily Style Phile: Taz Arnold, The Man Behind TI$A

2 of 6

The Sa-Ra Creative Partners

Taz's synergistic branding began early in his career with The Sa-Ra Creative Partners, a collective of producers, musicians, and executives. In addition to Taz, the group included, Om'Mas Keith and Shafiq Husayn. They began working with Dr. Dre and signed to Kanye Wests' GOOD Music record label, but they ultimately ended up with independent record label Babygrande.

Roughly translated to be "the children of God," Sa-Ra has either collectively or individually produced for artists like Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, and John Legend. Collectively and individually, they have produced many singles and mixed-tapes, providing a unique and at times unprecedented sound, inspired by virtually all kinds of music.
