Carolina Herrera Hosts Private Preview For Platinum Amex Holders

At the nice price of $395, Platinum Amex holders were treated to a private Taittinger champagne reception hosted by the Spanish luxury womenswear designer and a $500 discount certificate to spend on the Spring 2011 collection. The private runway, featuring the latest bridal collection impressed attendees who were invited post-preview to the Carolina Herrera Madison Avenue Boutique on Sunday to make appointments and shop privately with sales associates of Carolina Herrera. Ah, how the other half live.

One of the most highly anticipated collections each season,  Carolina Herrera can always be counted upon to impress with exquisite designs. One of which took centre stage in the last Sex and the City movie in the Vogue Bridal shoot montage. If it's good enough for SJP, well we should only be so lucky. This season, Herrera has looked to daring styles of iconic women in history as inspiration for Spring brides-to-be. Look out for pieces paying homage to  Grace Kelly, Georgia O’ Keefe, Virgina Wolf, Anna Pavlova and Frida Kahlo.
