2010 CFDA Fashion Awards: A Night Of Pure Magic And Brilliance

Anyone who's anyone knows that the 2010 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards happened last night at the Alice Tully Hall in the Lincoln Center. I think pretty much everyone in New York knew about this, if only from looking at your twitter feed last night... mine was blowing up!-

Here's a little recap of the winners of the night, if you haven't already heard. Michael Kors received the first standing ovation of the night for winning the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award. One of my personal favorite designers, Marc Jacobs, won the Womenswear Designer of the Year Award. Rag & Bone designers, Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, took home the Menswear Designer of the Year, while Alexis Bittar won Accessories Designer of the Year. Iman was honored as a Fashion Icon and Ralph Lauren received the Popular Vote Award.

Although all of the attendees were obviously looking their best in this season's trendiest pieces, I was still able to come up with a few of my favorites of the night.

Best dressed woman: Jessica Stam

Best dressed man: Thom Browne

Best dressed couple: Alino Cho and John Demsey

Best dressed designer and celebrity duo: Irina Lazareanu and Phillip Lim

Best dressed twins: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

Most fun duo: Betsey and LuLu Johnson

Now... if only the rest of us could look this good all the time!
