The grand revelation of the new David H. Koch Hall at the Lincoln Center was replete with the trappings of any proper uptown event: Old monied men and their newly acquired wives, Hamish Bowles representing Vogue and enough champagne and diamonds to forget a recession ever existed. However, much like the modernization of the building, there were some new and surprising aspects to the event as well…

Alex and Simon from Real Housewives proved they like the opera even when the cameras aren't rolling and everyone talking to Social Life editrix Devorah Rose was presented with a release to sign. Her camera crew bore a startling resemblance to the one following similarly bottle blonde Tinsley Mortimer around, so might be finally be living out her Empire State dreams?
