For Your Inner Hippie: The Most Unusual Outdoor Events

Zombie Walk

Zombie Walks are mainly promoted through word of mouth or the internet and are an underground activity. Most walks are held as either performance art, to create global hunger awareness, to create spoof protests such as "zombie rights" or just for fun.

While some participants dress as zombies, others dress as soldiers who are meant to contain the outbreak or survivors who are trying to defend themselves. Zombies are to remain in true character during the whole walk. In more advanced events, zombies "eat" their victims to create new zombies as onlookers watch.
