7. Jean Paul Gaultier has been notoriously denied at Cannes Film Festival in the past for his outlandish outfits. In an interview, Gaultier thanked his friendship with Madonna for allowing him access into the festival. The designer who crafted Madonna's famous cone shaped bra for her 1990 Blond Ambition Tour showed up to Cannes (and been rejected entrance) in avant-garde outfits in the past, such as a tuxedo jacket paired with shorts, and once, in a kilt.
