7. Christian Louboutin creates Cinderella' infamous glass slipper. Louboutin created the glass shoe in honor of the re-release of the Disney classic, Cinderella. Louboutin tells the Telegraph UK,
"Cinderella is not only an iconic character when it comes to grace and fairytale love, but also shoes. The dream is a major factor in my language of design. There are no limits in the world of fantasy and there is always a happily ever after."
Indeed, his design captures the essence of this widely popular fairytale.
The shoes feature Louboutin's trademark, red sole, and are made of crystal, lace, and two butterflies as decor. [TelegraphUK]
