2. Raf Simons said his last goodbyes as the creative director of Jil Sander last week, and the woman herself has stepped back up after an eight-year absence. This is Sander's second return to her fashion house that she founded in 1968, the first due to "strategic and financial" differences when the company was under control by the Prada Group. On her return Sander said,
"I am very happy and excited to be back. It feels like coming home after a brief journey."
