7. Rumor has it Anna Wintour could perhaps be offered a political appointment in London for her fund raising efforts on behalf of Obama’s reelection campaign. Her speculated role would be “U.S. ambassador in England,” which is set to open up later this year.
Wintour, a native of London, fits the bill with her deep pockets and support of President Obama’s reelection. However, she’s shown no signs of wanting the position-or retiring from Vogue- so we can expect that the New York veteran will stick around for another 40 years.
