5. Alexa Chung, recently named British Fashion Council Young Ambassador, has admitted to being rejected from fashion design school. Alexa Chung, designer, style icon, and sheepishly proud founder of the peter-pan-collar fad, didn't get accepted to Central Saint Martin's fashion design program when she applied as a teenager.
So I feel a bit jealous of [design students], like I want to join in. I should've done this. And I veered into TV, but always end up in fashion one way or another. I suppose, even though I didn't get in to Saint Martins, I managed to leapfrog the process.
