4. President Obama used to shop at Goodwill back in the day. In the latest edition of
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, which was filmed at the University of North Carolina campus, President Obama was faced with a picture from his own college days.
The photo showed a young Barack sitting on a futon covered with a bed sheet and a sad looking plant in the corner. Obama was amused and explained his late 70's outfit to the audience:
"I want you to notice the Afro, and then there's, I guess, fur on the jacket, on the collar. I think this was a Goodwill purchase."
Apparently, it's not only Michelle who knows how to make an inexpensive look work. [
