7. Richard Chai is partnering up for a second time with Effen Vodka, and DIFFA to create a dress that will be auctioned off after the celebratory event last night. DIFFA, or Design Industries Foundation Fighting Against AIDS co-hosts the cocktail party being held at the Dream Hotel downtown. This event marks Chai's desire to re-emerge in the fashion world as an evening wear designer. According to
Style the gown is a,
"Hand-pleated, crinkled chiffon number."
Modeling the gown at the event is Chai's long time friend, and model, Hilary Rhoda. Chai told Style, [
