4. Two of Kate Middleton's hat were featured in the "Passion for Fashion" auction hosted by Kerry Taylor's auctions on June 26. Middleton's Philip Somerville hat (left) was expected to go for between $3,000 and $4,600. Her other hat, the black Aurora, was also expected to fetch a similar price.
One lucky anonymous bidder got both hats for more than expected. The Sommerville was sold for $5000 and the Aurora for $5,800. It is no surprise these hats went for such high prices. No one can forget about the show stopping sheer dress which was auctioned for an astounding $125,000. [
