French luxury brands fight back against counterfit bags
1. Don't run out to Canal St. and buy that $100 Chanel bag just yet. Fashion houses from Chanel to Louis Vuitton have began running a new campaign to end the production and sale of their counterfeit merchandise. One Cartier poster reads "Buy a fake Cartier, get a genuine criminal record”. Major fashion houses will also be teaming up with credit card companies to track the online sale and distribution of their counterfeit products. [Stylelite]
