Vertical stripes can create the illusion of height. So grab yourself a pair of vertical striped shorts next time you're out shopping! Just try to avoid the ones with horizontal stripes; they make the eyes go side to side, which doesn't do much to help the illusion of height.
If you're going to go for some horizontal stripes however, make sure they are skinny like the ones in Kourtney Kardashian's striped suit.
