Bringing Back The Essence
For the Resort 2014 collection, Wang stayed with the restricted color palette and the signature Balenciaga volumes. It was a smart move to apply a sense of continuity while the house was still in transition mode. Even though he recreated a lot of the silhouettes and layering that Mr. Balenciaga did, he still added his sporty imprint.
