Last week, fashion elites and trendsetters flocked to Westminster Abbey. It wasn't a royal wedding, coronation or funeral, but something similar in stature for those within the fashion world: a Gucci collection. Effortlessly cool models sashayed within the cavernous walls and centuries of history. Yet with such an anglophile-centric collection, this location choice was not surprising. While it may have lacked Cuba's political edge, Westminster Abbey served as an ultra-luxe time capsule for the show.
Collection: You could hear collective gasps from the street-style enthusiasts with each look. Some pieces, like loafers sporting the UK flag, screamed WE ARE IN LONDON HI YES LONDON!!!!!! (Unnecessary? You decide.) We found ourselves dreaming of the tattered acid wash denim and rich, flora inspired prints which could be mistaken for having been torn off of tapestries within Westminster Abbey.
