Anna Karina

Anna Karina
Danish model, Anna Karina, muse of her (then) husband director Jean-Luc Godard starred in 6 of his films. When she was 17, she moved to Paris and became a model. It was there that she met Coco Chanel, who helped her come up with the stage name Anna Karina. The '60s French New Wave icon is known for her playful, flirtatious, carefree characters and colorful clothes in Pierrot Le Fou (1965) and A Woman is a Woman (1960). Her signature style was contrasting primary colors, stripes, and bright tights. With her bangs, bold accessories, and quirky fashion, Anna Karina reminds us of "New Girl" star Zooey Deschanel.
