Fashion shows display the meticulous work designers invest in creating intricate pieces of art. To maintain focus on these pieces the runway is often left as simple as possible. When one thinks of the typical catwalk, a simple white or black platform with a matching backdrop adorned with the brand name comes to mind. Some designers, however, realize that the runway can be utilized as a stage to supplement their beautiful designs. From shows on the Berlin subway to catwalks down the Great Wall of China, here are some of the most unique fashion show runways.
