Jean Paul Gaultier for The Fifth Element
In Luc Besson's epic 1997 classic, Gaultier designed memorably wacky costumes totally fitting for a comic book future. The instantly recognizable ones includes Milla Jovovich's white bandage 'jumpsuit', Chris Tucker's leopard bodysuit, and cruise attendants outfitted in purple cut-out dresses that somehow recall the '60s and bondage, all at the same time.
