Leanne Shapton is a charming friend of ours with outsized talent. I am obsessed with these one of a kind wooden books of hers. Pick your favorites and set them out in your own home for conversation starters, or wrap them up for your literary/artsy friend who you never know what to buy...either way, they are home runs.
Bonus: They aren't on Amazon ----or any online site, so you'll get serious points for originality. The only store that you can find them at in the U.S. is John Derian, which just so happens to be another favorite of ours for gift giving. (See next slide).
